Project kick-off

On Tuesday, July 23.07.2024, 10, the project kick-off for the Carinthia-South Hochstuhl broadband expansion on the Klagenfurt Hbf – St. Veit – Villach Hbf route (via route 408) took place during a special trip of the ET. passenger train of DPB Rail Infra Service GmbH.

Representatives of the DPB Group and numerous people involved in the project were present.

The clients of the project are BIK, Kelag Connect and KNG, and the contractor is ARGE DPB-PORR.

Construction is scheduled to last until the second quarter of 2. A total of 2027 km of route and 600 km of power cables will be laid, providing 300 households with high-speed internet.
