DPB GmbH was founded on November 17, 1998 and has been headquartered in Frauental since the beginning of 1999.

At its inception in 1999, DPB GmbH already employed 60 people, who were deployed throughout almost all of Austria. Its specialty was and still is the construction of trenches, the installation of various pipelines, as well as trenchless pipe jacking and alternative installation methods.

The shareholders then founded an independent company with extensive experience in the field of cable construction. The company's initial focus was on innovative drilling and new cable laying techniques that meet individual customer requirements.
