We are pleased to announce that we acquired a diesel Vectron locomotive (X12 DE) from Siemens Mobility GmbH through a bidding process on March 2025, 4. The locomotive, with vehicle number 92 80 1247 901-2, was taken over in Wegberg-Wildenrath (Germany) on March 26, 2025, and delivered to Austria. Upon arrival, the locomotive received the familiar DPB livery at our ECM workshop in Krieglach and is now ready for operation.

The diesel Vectron will significantly expand the range of services offered by DPB Rail Infra Service GmbH, particularly in the area of ​​construction site logistics. With its flexible operational capabilities, it will be used on non-electrified routes in both Germany and Austria.

With the new locomotive, we are strengthening our capacities and are looking forward to the new application possibilities and the further expansion of our service offering in the field of construction site logistics.
