• Maintenance of the vehicle fleet consisting of locomotives, electric multiple units and special vehicles.
• Creation and further development of maintenance specifications (ECM II) for vehicles of the DPB.
• Active participation in troubleshooting and damage assessment of rail vehicles, as well as providing technical support to workshop staff.
• Development and implementation of measures for the technical optimization of components and subsystems with a focus on cost reduction and quality improvement.
• Participation in projects as well as support in the implementation and continuous optimization of maintenance measures.

• Completed technical education (HTL, FH or TU) with a focus on electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering or a comparable field
• Knowledge of maintenance strategies and operational processes in manufacturing companies; ideally complemented by experience in the rail vehicle industry or a comparable industrial environment.
• A sound understanding of the function and structure of electronic control systems and bus systems is desired.
• Excellent knowledge of the common MS Office applications
• Strong teamwork skills and excellent communication skills when dealing with different target groups.

The gross salary for this position, based on full-time employment, is between € 3.650,00 - € 4.600,00 with willingness to pay above the standard rate depending on qualifications and experience.
