
DPB GmbH carries out demanding horizontal directional drilling projects on the Koralpe mountain range.
On behalf of Windpark Bärofen GmbH, a total of eight wind turbines are being built on the Koralpe at an altitude of around 1.600 meters, which will supply approximately 25.000 households with electricity in the future.
To transmit the generated energy, a power line will be built from the Koralpe mountain range to Wolfsberg. The necessary trenchless cable laying will be carried out by the DPB GmbH implemented as a subcontractor of the executing joint venture ARGE Porr / Leyrer + Graf.

The disposal and transport of the drilling mud generated within the construction site also require a significant logistical effort. This is accomplished using specialized pumps.
