Broadband expansion in Bad Bleiberg

Fiber optic expansion continues to progress

Broadband expansion is also progressing rapidly in the market town of Bad Bleiberg: A total of 38.000 meters of new routes are being built, and around 75.000 meters of cable are being laid to connect the region to the high-speed network. The clients for this important infrastructure project are the Kelag Energy and TAURUS, thus ensuring reliable digital coverage in rural areas. The civil engineering work was successfully completed in mid-September 2024, an important milestone on the path to improved internet connectivity. With this expansion project, Bad Bleiberg will benefit from fast and stable internet in the future – a win for residents and the local economy.
